American Division
Dear GIS – American Division – students and parents, Welcome Back!
I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation with all the precautions of Covid 19. I also hope you relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. As this message is written on July 4th, so I am not sure if we are going to start a hybrid mode of education or we will – at least – start with online sessions for some time. But still I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you all.
It seems that we are going through another incredible and unusual school year. Our qualified and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for our beloved students. We are working on 2 plans; our hard working nannies and cleaners have spent all summer thoroughly cleaning and sterilizing the whole school campus. And, our school high management committee brought all the needed equipment to facilitate the online communication in case of need. We are indeed a family and a caring community with common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level education.
I would like to welcome all new students who enrolled in our GIS family. Each year brings positive change. I am really lucky watching our small family getting bigger and bigger. For our new students, do not ever hesitate to knock on my door or send me asking for help or advice, I will always be there for you.
We believe that parent’s involvement in the child’s school experience is very important. So you need to follow up daily with your child at home, insuring that your child did his homework, reviewing the messages and memos on the school’s LMS program and attending the parents-teachers meetings.
I believe in the open-door communication policy with parents, you are always welcomed to set an appointment and meet together to discuss our student’s school progress and experiences.
We are looking forward to working together as a team – students, parents, teachers and school administration to take the necessary steps for our students to excel in their future academic life.
Respectfully yours,
